This policy covers GTA VI Companion: Map & Wiki for iOS (App Store ID 6799057240, bundle com.gtavicompanion.mobile). The website and Android apps have a separate privacy policy. This is an independent, unofficial companion, with no affiliation with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
1. Information on your device
No companion account is required. Bookmarks, preferences, onboarding completion and reminder choices are stored on your device. The app does not request your contacts, photos or precise location. iOS manages permissions for notifications you choose to enable.
2. Product analytics and attribution
Amplitude receives an app-specific installation identifier and selected product events, such as onboarding progress, feature use, paywall interaction and purchase or restoration outcomes. These events help us understand app operation and improve the experience. Custom free-text onboarding answers and payment-card information are not included. Our Amplitude integration uses its European endpoint and suppresses IP-based location enrichment in event payloads.
AppsFlyer measures app installs, sessions, campaign attribution and fraud signals. Depending on the device and service configuration, it may process an app or device identifier, IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device and operating-system information, app version, install and session activity, campaign information and diagnostics. Its installation identifier is shared with RevenueCat to connect purchase attribution with installs. The iOS app does not display third-party advertising.
3. Apple purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes in-app payments. RevenueCat verifies subscriptions, trial eligibility, renewals and restorations, and keeps Pro access in sync. Apple and RevenueCat may process product and transaction identifiers, purchase dates, storefront and currency information, subscription and entitlement status, purchase and restoration results, and an anonymous RevenueCat app-user identifier. Apple sends subscription lifecycle notifications to RevenueCat. We do not receive your complete payment-card details.
4. Content, Game Center and support
The app requests editorial content from our content service. These requests expose ordinary network information such as an IP address and request metadata to the service. Public links you open are handled by the destination website under its own privacy policy. Apple manages Game Center sign-in and related player information when you use Game Center features. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer your request.
5. Purposes and legal grounds
We process information to deliver requested content and purchases, restore access, answer support requests, secure the service, understand app performance and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, our grounds are performance of the service or purchase contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in reliable operation and improvement, or consent where required. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Providers, retention and international processing
Our providers include Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude, AppsFlyer and the infrastructure providers needed to deliver content and support. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for these purposes, purchase restoration, security, dispute resolution and applicable legal or accounting requirements. Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA, using applicable transfer safeguards. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information.
7. Your choices and rights
Manage notification permissions and Apple privacy controls in iOS Settings. Manage billing in your Apple Account subscriptions. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact info@routemap.ai and identify GTA VI Companion for iOS. We may need limited additional information to locate anonymous records and verify the request. You can complain to your local data protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Apple manages requests concerning information it controls.
8. Children, changes and contact
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion if a child supplied information. We will update this page and its date when our practices change, and provide additional notice or request consent where required.
